United Spaces
Copenhagen, DENMARK
United Spaces is a serviced office jointly founded by Fluidminds, a Swedish Consultancy, Corporate Mission, and NCC Real Estate. It is more than a serviced office with just space and equipment. Its concept is to build a platform where members can share knowledge and ideas. In other words, United Spaces is a unique blend of workplace and club where people get together to create a networking office.
The second site of United Spaces, is in the new business area of Copenhagen. Unlike other serviced offices, it has an open floor, with the exception of conference rooms and a café. Members can pick and choose their desks to their own liking. Personal items are to be stored in a mobile cart provided.

The interior design aims more to create a meeting place, rather than a work place. Workstations are placed in close proximity with each other for easy interaction and the desk height is set high so that workers can easily communicate with those passing by. Large and small meeting rooms, 12 in total, are separated by glass partitions and sliding doors, creating visual communication while assuring sound privacy.

At the end of the open space are a stage for presentations and a lounge called Zen Zone. The serene space commanding a view of Black Diamond, a new wing of the Royal Library across the river, is a perfect space for generating new ideas and communicating with others.
