 |
| AXIOM, a management consulting firm, has escaped the financial
district of San Francisco and relocated to the South of Market Area, otherwise
known as the Multimedia Valley. For the firm that designs the re-engineering of
large corporations, its office needed to be a metaphor of the companys services.

 |
 |
| AXIOMs new office is completely open, where even
the CEO does not have a private office. Except for the administrative staff that
is regularly stationed in the office, all offices are non-territorial. Normally
their consultants would work at the clients office given their own desks.
So the AXIOM office in turn, is aimed to become My Sweet Office, where
the consultants can come back and feel at home. To further enhance this, no hotelling
reservation is required. Whenever the consultants return to the office, the preference
is to use the conference rooms to exchange information with colleagues or to have
casual meetings. Even with almost 10 conference rooms, the constant shortage of
these conference rooms proves that this office has fulfilled its role as their
sweet office. |
